Which is better for creators, Campsite.bio or Linktree?

Campsite.bio is the value pick and Linktree is the deep one. Campsite Pro costs $7/mo and includes a custom domain, something Linktree does not offer on any plan at any price, along with in-depth analytics, tracking pixels and opt-in forms. Linktree costs $15/mo for Pro but brings commerce, a far deeper design suite, Google Analytics, conversion tracking, UTMs and the widest integration ecosystem in the category. If you want a clean link page with a custom domain for as little as possible, Campsite wins. If the page needs to sell, attribute and scale, Linktree does.

Campsite is the cheapest credible route to a custom domain

Campsite Pro is $7/mo, or $5.83 billed annually, and includes a custom domain, a subdomain, branding removal, in-depth analytics with geo and referral data, tracking pixels, opt-in forms, UTM parameters, scheduled links and premium link types.

Linktree has no custom domain on any plan. That single fact decides this comparison for a large share of people who arrive at it, and no amount of feature depth elsewhere changes it.

Pro+ at $24/mo adds six profiles and four collaborators outright, lifetime analytics retention, advanced reporting and CSV export. Extra profiles and collaborators are $1.50 each on Pro, so most solo creators never need Pro+.

Linktree is a materially bigger product

Linktree sells digital products and courses from its free plan, embeds music and video, runs Instagram auto-replies, offers around two dozen link apps, and integrates with Shopify, Spring, Bonfire, SendOwl and more. Campsite does none of this. It has no commerce beyond tips and requests.

On the marketing side Linktree Pro brings Google Analytics, the Facebook Conversion API, global UTM parameters, SEO settings, email platform sync, audience and location insights and AI-driven analytics. Campsite covers tracking pixels and UTMs but not the rest.

Linktree's design suite on Pro is also deeper: advanced themes, advanced button and font styles, wallpaper images and video, hero and video profile images, header layouts and logo titles. Campsite offers advanced customization on its free plan, but with a narrower ceiling.

The honest cost comparison

Campsite Pro at $84/year against Linktree Pro at $180/year is not close on price, and Campsite is the one that includes a custom domain.

But they are not the same purchase. Linktree Pro buys commerce, attribution and an integration ecosystem that Campsite does not attempt. The question is whether you need those things. For a creator who simply wants a fast, clean, branded link page, the honest answer is often no.

Both free plans are usable. Campsite's free tier includes unlimited links and advanced customization; Linktree's includes unlimited links, selling at a 12% fee, embeds and email capture, but limits analytics to a rolling 28-day window and may show visitor ads under a current beta.

Who should choose what

Choose Linktree if

  • You want to sell digital products or courses from your link page
  • You need Google Analytics, conversion tracking or email platform sync
  • You want the deepest design controls and the widest integration ecosystem
  • You want Instagram auto-replies, social scheduling or dynamic link routing
  • You'd rather have one tool that scales than the cheapest option

Choose Campsite.bio if

  • You need a custom domain and don't want to pay much for it: $7/mo is the cheapest in the category
  • You want a fast, clean link page and don't need commerce
  • You're managing several profiles and want them at $1.50 each rather than separate subscriptions
  • You want in-depth analytics with geo and referral data without upgrading twice
  • You're paying for Linktree Pro and not using its commerce or integrations

Frequently asked questions

Yes, substantially. Campsite Pro is $7 per month ($5.83 billed annually, or $84 per year) against Linktree Pro at $15 per month ($180 per year). Campsite Pro also includes a custom domain, which Linktree does not offer on any plan at any price. Both tools have free plans.

Does Campsite.bio include a custom domain?

Linktree sells digital products and courses (Campsite has no commerce beyond tips and requests), integrates with Google Analytics and the Facebook Conversion API, syncs to email platforms including Mailchimp, Kit and Klaviyo, runs Instagram auto-replies and social media scheduling, offers dynamic links with smart routing, and carries roughly two dozen link apps plus Shopify, Spring and Bonfire store integrations.

Is Campsite.bio the same as Bio Sites (bio.site)?

No. They are unrelated products often confused because of the similar domains. Campsite.bio is an independent link-in-bio tool founded in 2018 and used by over 250,000 creators, agencies and brands. Bio Sites, at bio.site, is a free link-in-bio product from Squarespace, built by the Unfold team Squarespace acquired in 2020. Campsite.bio has not rebranded.
